Make it work
for your world.
Start with the applications you need. Then choose where the workspace runs, which intelligence it uses, and what it can connect.
Already have a workspace?
Sign in at oswarm.ai, or sign up for a hosted workspace. Applications and connected services depend on that workspace’s configuration. A self-hosted or local installation signs in at the address its installer prints.
Choose where it runs.
Hosted
Use a workspace operated by a host. The host manages deployment, availability, and which applications are provided.
Self-hosted
Operate the platform on infrastructure you manage. You take responsibility for the runtime, identity, storage, providers, and updates.
Local
Use a supported installation on your own machine. Combine an API model with local apps, or use a suitable local model when your hardware supports it.
Build your first useful workflow.
- Pick an application. Start with a class, a document, a grocery list, a creative project, or a paper-trading strategy.
- Choose the intelligence. Configure a supported API model or a compatible local model. Review the context external providers will receive.
- Connect only what you need. Authorize the service, check its supported operations, and give the application the appropriate access.
- Choose where artifacts live. Use local storage, a mapped drive, or a supported cloud connection. A cloud-synced folder still sends files to the cloud.
- Work your way. Make a change yourself, or talk it through with the embedded concierge and have it handle the available updates. Review the result, then extend the work with workflows or schedules when you need them.
A few practical answers.
Can I use it from my phone?
Phone access connects to the configured workspace. A phone interface does not mean the full runtime or local model runs on the phone.
Does my information have to leave my computer?
With local processing and local storage, your files can stay on your computer. If you call an API model, a connected service, or a cloud-synced drive, that service receives the information sent to it.
Will any model, API, or harness work?
Open Swarm is designed around compatible integrations and provider choice. Availability depends on a working adapter, supported endpoint or harness, permissions, and the operation you want to run.
Can it keep working while I am away?
Configured jobs and schedules can continue while the runtime and required workers remain available. Sleeping or disconnected devices cannot carry out their assigned work.
Where do I sign in or sign up?
Sign in and sign up at oswarm.ai/login. A self-hosted or local installation has its own sign-in at the address the installer prints, usually http://127.0.0.1:38788/login. The Run local page has the installers and requirements.
